What is the Weekly Zikar Gathering?

In a world full of noise and distraction, the Weekly Zikar Gathering is a spiritual sanctuary. These sessions are designed to help seekers reconnect with their hearts, remember their Creator, and nourish their souls through the remembrance of Allah.

Led by students of Sheikh Jamil Ahmed Sukhera, the gatherings are open to all—new reverts, seasoned travelers on the path, or anyone seeking peace and divine closeness.

The Power of Dhikr (Remembrance)

Through Dhikr, we:

  • Purify the heart of spiritual diseases
  • Calm the mind from restlessness
  • Illuminate the soul with Divine Light
  • Strengthen our connection with Allah ﷻ
  • Awaken love for the Prophet ﷺ

Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find peace.

What Happens During the Gathering?

Every gathering is conducted with gentleness, clarity, and sincerity. You can expect:

Opening Recitation: A few verses from the Qur’an

Heart Presence (Tawajjuh): Guided moment to settle inward

Silent and Vocal Zikar: Recitation of Divine Names, litanies, and praises of Allah

Spiritual Advice (Sohbah): Short, inspiring talk rooted in the teachings of Tasawwuf

Collective Dua: A heartfelt supplication for spiritual well-being, the Ummah, and all in need

No prior experience is necessary. All guidance is provided with simplicity and compassion.

Words from the Heart

The Zikar gathering changed the way I see my life. It helped me find clarity, calmness, and real connection with Allah.

Every week, I feel recharged. It’s like my spiritual reset button.
